Smokin’ Joes : Travelling Woes
September 10th, 2008
Smoking in Statutory Warning: "Smoking is injurious to health". This is a Common Statement displayed on Cigarette Packets. However, does not have any significance in our Public friendly buses.
No passenger should be allowed to smoke in the Bus. The Offenders should be challaned in case of any instance of Smokin’.
The Conductors and Drivers do not have the Guts to stop these Offenders as they(Conductors and Drivers) themselves smoke in the bus and force the Entire Passenger Group(of the Bus) to do passive Smokin’.
If they want to smoke, they should smoke before / after their working hours (when the bus is Not in motion).
Furthermore, people should raise their voices against them and report to Transport Department in case of any violation.
Strict and Quick Discplinary Action should be taken in this case.
Then only, these Smokin’ Joes can be <brought back on the right track>.

Hi GP, i completely agree with what ever u have written.
ppl just don’t realize that others also have full right to enjoy there surroundings. So the non smokers like me would always appreciate ” smokers ” to let us enjoy, as according to smokers, they enjoy smoking..
