Where are we heading to?

Hungry Child

Where are we heading to?

The other day, I visited a village. I wondered, how people live; without eating two meals a day! I saw a tiny tot, pining for a few drops of water. After searching here and there, he finally gulped a few drops of rain water which was accumulated on a gutter cover.

What a shame

We, the Indians, have the fastest growing economy, in this world. Indians are a substantial & indispensable part of the elite class of the world. We are heading towards the Space but we have forgotten the down-trodden Indians living below.

Water, in Sanskrit, means life.

Truly, Water is life.

A homosapien (human being) can survive without food for a few months, but he (/she) can t survive without water for more than a few weeks.

India lives in villages. India can’t grow unless the poor-downtrodden people living the poverty line will be uplifted.

The rich become richer and the poor become poorer.

Now, we are entering the Cola war. It has been proved scientifically that Colas contain toxins and pesticides beyond the acceptable limit. If we forget the presence of these toxins in Colas, then also, Colas are injurious to our bodies. Actually, these contain the solution of carbon dioxide gas (CO2) in water (H2O) along with the required Flavor. This solution is acidic in nature and is scientifically known as Carbonic Acid. This acid has hampering effect on bones and increase acidity and Cholesterol. Colas contain pesticides because these pesticides are present in the water, which the Cola Companies use.

On the same lines, Mineral Water also contains these toxins.

Therefore, the root of this entire problem is the contamination of Drinking Water .

There was a large hue and cry over the use of the soft drinks, but not a single voice was raised against the contaminated drinking water.

Now, a question arises: how does the drinking water get contaminated

The farmers spray pesticides (DDT, BHC, etc) on the crops. A part of these pesticides is absorbed by the crops, the rest flows away to the soil. The extensive usage of the pesticides has resulted in the contamination of the water table, from which the drinking water is derived directly or indirectly. Also, the vegetables are contaminated with these slow poisons. The humans and herbivorous animals eat these poisoned veggies. By, the phenomenon of Bio-magnification – the amount of pesticides increases in their bodies. Moreover, industries drain their wastes into the rivers to pollute the water. Now-a-days, the farmers are also spraying an Animal Hormone Oxytocin on the crops. This hormone is very toxic to humans.

Bird flu has spread in many parts of world. Similar is the case with fish and mutton.

So, one can t even eat Non-veg food.

People are using dyes and polishes to sell pulses (read: dals) and rice.

The drinking water is contaminated.

All the edible items are contaminated.

What should one eat and drink

Where are we heading to?

We are heading towards a slow death.

The food and supply department should be endowed with more practical powers to penalize the culprits (in this regard).

Before it is too late, wake up, now!
